Tech San Diego and ESET have partnered up to bring you a series focusing on cybersecurity and data protection. With the rising frequency of cyber attacks and the legislation of the California Consumer Privacy Act, the constant quest for better cyber defense can be daunting. Tech San Diego hopes to help answer your questions with this series. Our first panel focused on the CCPA, with  Justine Phillips of Sheppard Mullin, security expert Stephen Cobb from ESET, and General Counsel Alexandra Albro from ESET leading a great discussion. They discussed:

  • Whether CCPA applies to your organization
  • What is “reasonable security” under CCPA and how to demonstrate it
  • How to manage and gain buy-in from internal stakeholders
  • What steps to take now to prepare for the new regulations

See below for the official powerpoint presentation.
