While Tech San Diego’s primary focus is supporting the tech industry and universities in our region, we also recognize that we have a responsibility to the greater community of San Diego. Tech San Diego strongly condemns racism in all of its forms. As an organization, we believe in diversity, inclusion, innovation, and collaboration — in the tech industry, university systems, and society as a whole. We stand with those looking to create peaceful solutions for societal change, and we are committed to engaging with our community to make Tech San Diego, our local tech industry, our universities, and our city the best they can be.
On the most recent TSD Spotlight Podcast, we spoke to Beverly Bracker, Director of SDSU’s Career Management Center in the Fowler College of Business, about how students can gain experience during the shutdown, develop and pursue new skills, and effectively look for jobs during this difficult quarantine period. Whether you’re still in school or a recent graduate, Beverly provides information for those looking for jobs or internships. She also touches upon how students can (and should!) take advantage of their campus resources like Career Services departments.
