Tech San Diego, a regional non-profit organization that supports the regional tech community is looking for an entry level Program/Marketing Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate for this role will have a marketing/communications background. Candidates should also have experience in event planning/production. The Program/Marketing Manager will primarily be responsible for event coordination, and marketing of Tech San Diego activities. The position will also provide overall administrative support for council operations
Develop and maintain marketing plans for all Tech San Diego activities, including email campaigns, and other marketing tasks
Coordinate event logistics and manage event details such as booking event space, food and beverage, signage, etc.
Monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Update and maintain event calendar
Provide administrative support for council operations
Use CRM to report on events, memberships, and marketing campaigns
Four-year college degree, marketing preferred.
Project and event management experience
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Strong understanding of marketing automation software and its use in email campaigns.
Proficient with content management systems (CMS); WordPress highly preferred.
Experienced user of Microsoft Office, social media platforms and Google Analytics
